Officially named as the Kenya Airways Ltd, the Kenya Airways serves as the national carrier of Kenya. Established in the year 1977, the airline was as a result of the dissolution of East African Airways. The airline was the first African flag carrier to be privatized in the 1996; until then, it was owned by the government of Kenya. The airline has a mixed fleet of close to 40 aircrafts and also has codeshare agreements with an extensive network of destinations.
